Alexandru Crisan works are available for purchase only as Limited Editions Artprints or Original Artworks. Some images are available for selling through art galleries worldwide and some of them in the SHOP section.

You have 3 options for purchasing an artprint: one single image (see ART PRINTS section), a set of 3 images (see PRINTS SETS section), one single image at big scale structured on 3 different panels (see EPIC EDITION section). Separately, we have a special section dedicated to the original artworks (see UNIQUE ARTWORKS section).

A preview is provided for each artwork on real environment, which allows you to see how a particular piece of art will look on your wall, before you make a purchase. No further reproduction of any kind will be run after art limited edition prints listed below are sold out.

ART PRINTS

The Art Prints are divided into 3 categories: LIMITED, COLLECTOR and UNIQUE EDITIONS. The number of art prints is based on a collection or series type, as described bellow for each category as follows:

> LIMITED EDITION (30 Limited Works) > All my works are labeled as Limited Editions. Photographs that are in a limited edition are produced in a limited quantity of prints, dedicated to art lovers who wants to have an original printed work.

[LE] AUTHOR’S LIMITED EDITION dedicated to particular images, from a project or a distinct series, available worldwide in only one edition of 30 printed works, numbered from 1/30. Limited Editions are available for online purchase only in the dimensions specified on FORMATS section.

> COLLECTOR EDITION (10 Art Limited Works) > Some of my artworks are labeled as Collector’s Edition (Signature Editions). Photographs that are in a collector edition are produced in a very limited quantity of art prints, dedicated to collector’s, museums or specific art galleries, who wants to have an original exclusive artprint.

[CE] COLLECTOR’S LIMITED EDITION dedicated to particular art images, selected from a project or a distinct series, available worldwide in only one edition of 10 art prints + 2 Artist Proofs, numbered from 1/10. Collector’s Editions are available for online purchase only in the dimensions specified on FORMATS section. For other collector inquiries use the contact us section. The prices for Collector Editions are progressive.

> UNIQUE EDITION (1 Artwork) > Few of my artworks, part of the Collector’s Edition (Signature Editions), are available in only one Exclusive Art Print, dedicated to special collector’s, museums or specific art galleries who wants to have an original unique artprint*.

*A Unique Exclusive Art Print is an artwork never reproduced in any form in limited or reproduction prints of any kind. Once the unique edition is purchased, the artist proofs if there exist, will be provided to the buyer which, finally, will be the only owner of the artwork. PRINTS SETS

The limited edition PRINTS SET is a selection of 3 images unified by a common theme or a concept. The series are available either in LIMITED, COLLECTOR or UNIQUE editions as follows:

[CEPS] COLLECTOR’S PRINTS SET dedicated to particular 3 art images, selected from a project or a distinct series, available worldwide in only one edition of 10 sets + 2 Artist Proofs, 40×40 cm, numbered from 1/10.

[UEPS] UNIQUE PRINTS SET dedicated for a unique exclusive set of 3 art images, selected from a project or a distinct series as reference, available worldwide in only one edition of 1 art set + 1 Artist Proof, 50×50 cm, numbered from 1/1.

> The Print Sets are available for online purchase only in the dimensions specified in FORMATS section. The prints can be purchased framed, ready to be hanged on your wall. EPIC EDITION

Rarely few of my artworks, labeled as Epic Editions, consists in 1 grand image displayed on minimum 3 separate panels (triptych). Spanning up to 7 meters, Alexandru Crisan Epic Editions are the largest photographic prints, available only in UNIQUE Edition. Photographs that are in an epic edition are produced in an extremely limited quantity of art prints, dedicated mainly to museums or art galleries, but also addressed to special collector’s, who wants to have an original unique artprint at extremely big scale.

UNIQUE ARTWORKS

A distinct part of my works are the original paintings dedicated to special collector’s, galleries or museums who want to have an original unique artwork.

[UA] UNIQUE ARTWORKS either paintings or drawings are available in the original form or framed following the specifications stipulated on each dedicated page. Due to limited availability, Unique Artworks are available only upon request for direct online purchase. AUTHENTICITY

> The Limited Editions are stamped and numbered on the back side and have a standard pre-signed Certificate of Authenticity attached to print’s verso or applied to the back of the support, indicating that you have purchased from artist studio an original printed work.

> The Collector and Unique Editions are certified signature editions, stamped and numbered on the back side. Additionally, as a separate document, a dedicated original, unique-signed Certificate of Authenticity, specially crafted for each edition, with artwork title, date and edition number, indicate that you have purchased an original exclusive or unique artprint.

> The Unique Artworks are signed on front and/or verso and have a unique identification number on the back side. Only upon special request, we can provide a separate original, unique certificate of authenticity, signed by the Artist, which indicate that you have purchased an original unique artwork.

QUALITY

Art printing > Printed on an archival 100% cotton Fine Art paper, such as Photo Rag for matte or glossy paper with pigment ink on Canon or Epson Fine Art printer, the giclée prints reach the highest museum quality standards which guarantees long lasting color and saturation. The estimated display life is at least 100 years before noticeable change under anti-UV glass and protected from direct sunlight.

Other mediums > In some cases, we can provide upon request other media types such as prints on canvas, Cezanne or Daguerre Canvas, certified for museum quality for highest age resistance. We can also provide Acrylic Mount / Alu-Dibond as a support medium for images but only upon request. If you are interested in other mediums for your print, use the contact form.

Special printing > Some editions might have other print processes type or different type of papers depending on image content. Personally supervised by the photographer in collaboration with the finest print-makers will grant the best possible results in order to reach the highest level of quality available in our times. Carbon transfer print for example, also known as a wet print process, is one of the preferred processes for some black and white editions. Made of pure carbon pigment, the carbon prints, renowned for its archival stability (at least 200 years on special conditions), rich shadows, clarity, and luxurious texture will never fade, exceeding the platinum or silver prints. The entire handmade process is an original work of art dedicated to achieving an exclusive unique image.

FRAMING

Prints in Limited and Collector Editions are unmounted and shipped to any country worldwide usually rolled in a hard tube, well protected against moisture and damage, unless specified otherwise. The photography can also be sent framed, only on express request, ready to be hanged on your wall, at an additional cost calculated on the type and dimensions of the selected frame and your location around the world. We can also provide Acrylic Mount / Alu-Dibond as a support medium for images but only upon request. If you are interested in framing for your print, use the contact form.

SHIPPING

All prints are shipped rolled in hard protective tubes to insure safe delivery to any country worldwide. It’s recommended to open the tube at your professional framing service to avoid print damages. The print sets are packed in a special protective cardboard envelope in case you want to preserve them without frame. Regular shipping is included with the Postal Service/UPS for limited editions and, by FedEx/DHL for the collector’s edition. Shipping costs are around 70 – 250 EUR depending on the destination country and your preferences: EU 70 EUR, US and Canada 130 EUR, Asia 150 EUR, Other 250 EUR. Total processing time is about 1-2 weeks for limited editions, 2-3 weeks for collector’s edition and 3-4 weeks for unique edition. More details on FAQ section.

PAYMENT

You can safely pay by PayPal Standard or by Direct Bank Transfer in the account provided in the checkout section. The order will be processed after 3 days from the clear payment. RETURNS

If you receive a damaged piece of art which is a rare occurrence or, if you just change your mind about your purchase, contact us within 24 hours at info@alexandru-crisan.com. In this case we will resend the art print again or cancel the order and refund you. At this time, there are no returns on special orders or artwork that is altered at the request of the customer. COPYRIGHT

When you purchase one of Alexandru Crisan artworks either in limited or collector editions, you are purchasing the actual physical print, with the right to display the print for viewing and non-commercial purposes. You will own the print, not the rights to the original image so you may not scan, duplicate, copy, resell, publish, or otherwise utilize the image in any manner without prior written authorization.
